Giving Thanks, Giving Back

Monday, November 16th, 2009

100_4090
It’s November. The month of giving thanks. I am thankful for a roof over my head and a full belly. I realize there are those in my own community who have neither. That’s not right, but there is something I can do to ensure there are resources for those who wish to be safe, warm and full. Now through Thursday, November 19th I am donating 15% of every etsy sale to benefit local outreach programs at Preble Street. Read the article from Hand Made News below, then join me and other Maine artists as we give thanks and give back.

Thank you!

Saturday, November 14, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – The Artisan Fair features entertainment for the whole family including music provided by “317 Main Street”, culinary delights, and the handmade goods of 30 local artisans. The Artisan Fair is open to the public and there is no fee to attend.

I’ll be one of the 30 artisans showing from 10 to 4 on Saturday. Come on by! Featuring frames, ornaments and pendants.

All proceeds from this event will support Waynflete and benefit areas such as financial aid, professional development, the arts and other curricular programs.
