Haiti is still hurting.
Let’s help. Purchase anything from my etsy shop and I will donate half of the sale price to Konbit Sante|Cap-Haitian Health Partnership. Free shipping too! So far, my etsy shop has raised over $125! Hurry though, my small relief campaign will run through Tuesday, February 2!
Konbit is Haitian Creole for working together. Sante means health. I though it would be great if you and I did a little konbit of our own, hence the sale in my etsy shop. These folks have been working in Haiti for 10 years and have systems in place to get help where it needs to go, fast. Visit their website for news and to find out how your donations are being spent.
There are lots of other things you may find in the shop or may consider as a gift for a upcoming wedding, anniversary or birthday!
And, if you can’t find anything in my store, check out all the other talented and generous creative souls at etsy who are also finding ways to help Haiti.
Thank You! Thank You!
Pass the word. Pass the love. Buy good, do good.

The kiln in my basement is warm and ready for the next wave of creativity. There is no feeling like the one I get when lifting the lid of the kiln. Those high temps can wreak havoc or delight. It’s like magic! The more time you spend with glaze and kiln, the more control you have over the magic. I guess at that point some folks call it science. No matter how many times I lift that lid, it remains magic to me. It’s always nice when others recognize the magic and respond. This morning, one of my ceramic pendants was selected as part of an etsy treasury of textural items chosen by Dawn E Bryant Designs. Thanks goes out to Dawn for putting the wonderful treasury together!

I’ve got one, you’ve got one, we’ve all got one. Some of us even have two, moms that is. If you have one that likes unique, sometimes useful, always cool stuff. Visit my etsy shop for some ideas. What’s etsy? you ask. Etsy is an online market place for artists, craftsmen, craft suppliers and vintage goods. It’s awesome (I don’t usually use that word, but it really is) and fun to shop.
I’m having a special Moms Day offer: Get a Free Gift with your purchase! You don’t have to do anything, just make your purchase before Sunday, May 3 at 6pm and I’ll include the free gift in your package.

If you don’t find anything at my shop that makes you twitch with desire, check out a few other maineteam etsy sellers. We are a talented bunch and I’m sure you’ll find something to love or to give with love!
